Response to "Not Waving But Drowning"
There was this girl that I had met in the summer while doing soccer conditioning for University High School. She was nice with what very little conversation that we had, but she seemed quiet. She also seemed kind of shy. I thought that she was quiet, because she would just kind of quietly laugh at something. When she did talk to me, it wasn’t for very long. It was just a couple of words. Now that I’ve talked to her more during school, I realize that she is not shy or quiet at all! Maybe she was quiet, because we didn’t have anything to talk about in the summer before school started. We didn’t really know each other either so that probably contributed to the fact that she was quiet around me. We tell each other secrets now and have big conversations! I think it felt good that my first impression of her was changed, because she seemed really nice, but because she was so quiet, I didn’t see how I would necessarily talk to her a lot. We have become good friends now. I feel that I should be more careful with my first impressions of people. They could be wrong. Just how I was wrong with this girl.

I like this blog. I think the last statements are very true! I feel the same way. It's cool to become friends with people you met at one time and then gotten to know them and realize they're something completely different than what you first expected. Good job! :)
yeah, i totaallly agree with what you said.
